I got the battery for roughly $45 with new warranty when you take the cash refund into consideration. I ran the purchase with TRT30 code and that gave me 30% off AND a $20 core return AND reset the warranty to 3 year replacement (because it was a fresh purchase at that point). Prior to leaving the house, I had already setup the purchase and had the battery ready in my online shopping cart on the phone. Mgr offers to refund the $57 to my card, then I could purchase online. I complained some more because it was $132 to begin with online. They then took $57 off the $152 and told me warranty would continue on new battery. First, when they told me "no more pro-rated" I complained and showed them my receipt. I think they kinda hated me by the time I left. There is an interesting Advance Auto Parts battery. Online sale however, charged the core cost and listed it as such. The last AutoCraft Silver battery we purchased from Advance Auto Parts lasted exactly thirteen months. They didn't want to give me the $20 core refund if purchased in store. Oh, I'm sure they'll gladly accept them for free. The pollution was so bad some of her clothing and shoes began to disintegrate. The recycling is done 300 miles from the coast- as the government is encouraging businesses to open in the undeveloped and uncrowded areas there. The ones that did have issues was usually unrelated to the battery itself, as in someone put a battery sized for a Honda Civic in their F150 and wondered why it only lasted 6 months, or they didn't have it mounted in properly and it bounced around, etc. I worked for Advance Auto for a little over 4 years many moons ago, and it didn't seem to matter if it was the economy, middle grade, or top shelf, as long as they were the correct group size and correct CCA rating (that is, meets or is higher than the OEM spec) then there typically isn't any issues.
